The Dorchester County Republican Party is hosting a Republican Primary debate at Summerville Country Club on Thursday, May 9.

“The stakes of the 2024 elections could not be higher,” said Dorchester County Republican Chairman Steven Wright. “In 2022, Dorchester Republicans made history by becoming the only county in the Lowcountry and one of the only counties in South Carolina where every resident elected official is now a Republican. The debates on May 9 offer the public an opportunity to hear directly from candidates running for coroner, sheriff, and Senate District 41 about their visions for the future. The Dorchester County Republican Party looks forward to uniting behind our nominees following the June Primaries and winning historic victories again in November.”
